26 Lewis and Luiza had two children in Iowa, Mary Ellen and Lewis H.
Wesley Kinzer, before the family started west on the Oregon trail.
Their third child, Armilday Uness, was born near Mt. Hood 14 Sep 1852.

They settled on a donation land claim in Linn County, Oregon, near
the towns of Crabtree and Scio. Eventually 13 children were born to
their union. Lewis died on 6 Oct 1871 in Crabtree, and is buried in
Scio at the Scio Masonic Cemetery. Luiza died on 27 Aug 1896, in
Crabtree, and is buried next to Lewis.
