- Loyalists In The Southern Campaign of the Revolutionary War by
Murtie June Clark, Vol. 1 lists Eve, Susanah, Ann Messmore in
John Bell's Refugee School from 1781-1782 . Martha & Peter
Messmore signed saying that John Bell taught the school. Are
these any connection? Green County, TN, Deed Book 19, p
326-328 John and Susannah sell land Aug 30, 1838 in Green
County. Signed & wit. by James Broyles, clerk. This is part
shared by sibs of Susannah after her mother Mary died. Feb 6,
1839 says Peter Cobble and Jefferson Etter were witnesses to
say that Jacob Missemore, Mary Missemore, Barbara Kirk, Eve
Catron and Henry Missemore, surrender deed to G. W. Fouts.
Letter of 1/29/1996 from Mrs. Pauline (misemer) Norby (Pauline
Norby) of 2820 Nevada Street, Manhatan, KS 66502, who says that
her ggggrandfather was Michael Misemer; her gggandfather was
his son Henry who m Susannah bible. Michael had a dau Susan who
m John Kinser. Her gggrandfather Henry and the Kinsers moved
from Greene Co, TN, to Monroe Co, TN, about
1819. John and Jacob Missimer witnessed John Kinser deed from
John Horton 1/22/1825 in Monroe Co, TN She has deed of
conveyance for her 1/7 interest in land dated Nov 5, 1814 and
states that she is lawful heir of Michael and that they are in
Greene Co, TN, at the time. IGI lists the following TN
submissions under Messimore: Susannah Messimore m. Adkins
Torbett 10/13/1847 in Monroe. Thomas Misemer m. 8/28/1838 Nancy
Jane of Monroe, TN. Thomas Messamore b. 8/1846 father James m.
mother Sarah Unknown, Thomas Messamore m. 5/30/1868 Elizabeth
Webster in Anderson, Clinton. Thomas H. Messamoare m. Susan E.
Sage 9/18/1870 in Anderson TN William Messimore m. Nancy Coats

Joseph Hutcheson JP. Supposed to be a link for Kinser famiy to
large estate in NY, investigated in 1930's. Erskine Kinser has
much paper work. nov. 1853 a communicant at St. Mary's
Church., Monroe Co, TN.
