Kinser Immigrants

Nicholas Kintzer(Küntzer)(2695) , born in Germany, November 15, 1715, traveled to the American colonies aboard the ship 'Thistle.' He was less than fifteen years old when he arrived in Philadelphia August 29, 1730. Nicholas settled in Tulpehoken township, Berks Co., Pennsylvania. He became a substantial citizen living to the ripe old age of seventy-nine. Nicholas and his descendants retained the Kintzer spelling of their name and most were living in the same general area as late as 1900.

John George Kintzer, another immigrant settled along the Potomac River and later moved to Berks County, Pennsylvania. His date of arrival and the vessel are not known.

Johan Jakob Küntzer(1346) and Johan Nicholas Kienser(Küntzer)(2111) arrived aboard the ship 'Davey' on October 28, 1738. I believe these two to be brothers.

Johan Jakob Küntzer(2280) arrived aboard the ship 'Samuel' on August 30, 1737.

Jakob Kintzer arrived aboard the ship 'St. Andrew's Galley' on September 24, 1737.
